DCWD general manager Engr. Edwin V. Regalado said that the 12-hour water supply scheme would have to be put in place until the water yield of the production wells improve to a level that will again allow for 24 hours water supply in Cabantian WSS. He apologizes to all affected customers and assures that DCWD is doing all interventions to restore normal water supply.

DCWD continues to augment water supply in Cabantian WSS by a minimum of 800 cu.m. per day by ferrying water from its Dumoy WSS to Cabantian WSS reservoir through water tankers. Preparations are also being done for the rehabilitation of wells to increase their water production capacity particularly Cabantian Production Well No. 1. (Jamae G. Dela Cruz)
